It’s the final day of our Beer, Cider & Perry Festival, and there’s still plenty worth raising a glass to.

Sunday 12th July is your last chance to explore the festival range — around 24 real ales and 50 ciders and perries still pouring on the bar. But today is about more than just the drinks. It’s also the day we celebrate something rather special.
Norfolk CAMRA Presentation
From around 2pm, Norfolk CAMRA will be here to present The Blackfriars Tavern with both Norfolk Pub of the Year 2026 and Norfolk Cider & Perry Pub of the Year 2026 certificates — the third consecutive year we’ve received both accolades at the Norfolk level. That’s a big deal, and we’d love to see you there for the presentation and group photos.
Live Music
Magpye (folk including Paul, the brewer at Drenchfoot) — 1:30pm – 2:30pm
The Ballard Bootleggers — 3:30pm – 5:30pm (their seventh visit to Blackfriars!)
All free, all relaxed, and all best enjoyed with a proper pint or a cider in hand.
Earlier Finish Today
We’re open from 11am, but note the earlier close: 8:30pm tonight. So if you’ve been meaning to come down all weekend, today is your last chance.
The usual snacks will be available at the presentation, but no plated pies and chips
Come along, grab a seat, enjoy the music, raise a glass to the awards, and see out the festival in proper Blackfriars style.
Available while stocks last. Ask at the bar if you’re not sure where to start.
