Last Tuesday of the month. You know what that means.
It’s quiz night tonight at The Blackfriars Tavern, and as expected, the inside of the pub is fully booked. Every chair and stool indoors has been snapped up. If you’ve already got a table, see you there. If you haven’t, don’t worry — the courtyard will be open, and with June weather on our side, it’s actually rather a good spot for a proper evening out.
The quiz gets going properly from 7:30pm. Friendly, relaxed, and just challenging enough to make people argue gently over the answer on the way home.
If you aren’t booked in for the quiz, you might want to consider coming earlier, or on another day.
Pies and bowls of chips available until 6pm, then it’s quiz mode only.
