It is nearly here — and the soundtrack is sorted.
The Blackfriars Tavern Beer, Cider & Perry Festival runs from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July, and alongside 30 real ales, 60 ciders and perries, Belgian beers and more, we have a cracking lineup of live music across all three days.
Festival weekend
Friday 10 July
Quiet afternoon, then Pianoman Dave Johnson (sing-along) from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Saturday 11 July
Jack Allen (punk folk) from 3:30pm – 5:30pm, then The Sugar Beatniks from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Sunday 12 July
Magpye (4 piece folk including Paul Foot – the brewer at Drenchfoot) from 1:30pm – 2:30pm, then The Ballard Bootleggers on their seventh visit here from 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
Also from around 2pm: CAMRA Presentation for Norfolk Pub of the Year and Norfolk Cider & Perry Pub of the Year – this is a big deal guys – it’s the third year we’ve been awarded both accolades at the Norfolk level! Please come along and be in the group photos!
Timings
Friday 10th: 11am – 10pm (snacks 1pm – 8pm)
Saturday 11th: 11am – 10pm (snacks 1pm – 8pm)
Sunday 12th: 11am – 8:30pm
Note: There will be no fish and chips or plated pie & chips meals during the festival weekend.
All live music is free to our customers. Come along, grab a proper pint of real ale or a cider, find a spot, and enjoy a weekend of proper pub atmosphere.
